Everyone thinking about starting their own company will benefit from reading about the tough start of design studio, Kicker. They got off in September 2008 on one of the worst days in the history of Dow Jones (it fell 500 points that day…).
It’s been tough for them, but they keep on going and especially their conference phone is a very cool project – especially considering that I had the same assignment at Bentley in my Advanced UI design class.
