As we (Kristoffer and I) found out in our bachelor’s project on Digital Patina, users don’t understand the interplay that happens when you take something digital (and somewhat magical) into the physical world. This example is very neat and nice, but it’s an art project and I still haven’t seen examples of wear and tear of data that makes sense to represent with the same attributes as physical elements.
