BarCampCopenhagen 2008 was a success!

Yesterday, I attended my very first BarCamp, the BarCampCopenhagen, and what a night it was!

A lot of the people from my Jaiku-network showed up and I got to hear a couple of very interesting “speakers”, such as Rasmus Lückow (the guy behind mitKBH.dk and the up-coming kbh.dk), Peter Brodersen (of findvej.dk) and Henrik Biering (of heste-nettet.dk, net-safe.dk and netamia.com). They talked about their sites and what they were up to at the moment, and especially Henrik Biering caught us by surprise, with a system that is almost finished and already much more compelling than OpenID (though the two systems can talk together, actually…). More on that later on, when I get to know some more of the techniques behind it.

Furthermore, it was nice to see some of the names you know from the Danish blogosphere, and I even got to say hi to a couple of them too! Nice device.

Until next time, many thanks from me to the crew that made it all happen; Kim, Henriette, Thomas, Troels and everybody who that showed up and made the night a blast.
